Joe, a devoted husband to Mary, tragically loses her and their daughter, Little Holly, during childbirth.
A decade later, Joe struggles to move on, finding solace in his imaginary daughter. He meets Big Holly, a woman escaping a toxic relationship, and falls for her. However, Little Holly warns him that loving Big Holly means letting her go.
When Big Holly's ex resurfaces, Joe withdraws, but ultimately expresses his love through a mural. In a pivotal moment, Joe chooses to let go of Little Holly, allowing him to finally confront his grief.
Big Holly, witnessing Joe's transformation, realises she too can love again.
But Holly has new dreams…and they include Joe.
